Antibes

Reunited and it feels so good!  The whole group spent the day in beautiful Antibes.  After a shockingly early departure time of - gasp - 8:30, we were off!  Our first stop was the Picasso Museum.

After the museum , the students had some free time to explore the Marché Provençal and shop for local gifts and enjoy lunch.  The spices and fruits and vegetables and flowers were stunning!

 

After the market and a short train ride to Juan-les-Pins it was paddleboarding and kayaking time. Sadly, I have no pictures of us doing these two activities because cameras and water don't typically play nicely together.  But I can promise you that everyone fell in at least once, so a good time was had by all.

Finally, we had our first real group dinner because our last two students, Douglas and Alexandre, arrived today.  Bienvenue!  And what day in Nice is complete without a stroll along the Promenade and an ice cream??
