La Coupe du Monde d'Abbey Road

For the prestigious title of World Champions of Abbey Road soccer games, the victor was...Come on, did you think I was going to tell you straight away?!  You don't know me at all.

For this morning's classes, both Cyril and Pauline wanted to take the students to a beautiful park, Parc Messena, to have a bit of scenery (and some fresh air) and because there is a beautiful house to tour.  Unfortunately the house was closed for a private event, but they stayed in the park and had class en plein air and will visit the house on Monday.

And now to the game.  Our fellows students in the Saint Laurent du Var program joined us in Nice today for a 'friendly' afternoon soccer game.  I think a rivalry has been born.  Just look at the intensity of focus and the high level of play!

I think it's safe to say that l’équipe de Nice won.

And of course there were those that didn't play.  But we gave moral support!

After dinner of Pauline's delicious tapas was a relaxing and non-competitive game of beach volleyball for some or a relaxing and non-competitive cold drink in a café for others.

Tomorrow is our delayed trip to Saint Paul de Vence.  See you there!
