MUSEE CHAGALL et SAINT-JEAN-CAP-FERRAT

We spent the morning enjoying a guided visit of the Musée Chagall.  Here it is and here we are!

This time I was allowed to take pictures of the art.  The colors were ah-mazing.  Although Dayna doesn't seem to think so...

My goodness, these Frenchies sure can paint!

And just look at these vitraux.  Chagall is well known for his stained glass and if you ever pass through Chicago, stop by the Art Institute to see the installation.  For that matter if you ever pass through Paris, take a tour of the Opéra Garnier and see the painted ceiling.  It's just luminous.

Here Ana and Anna Rose are enjoying the view of the mosaic outside from the air-conditioned inside. Clever girls.

Then we spent the afternoon in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.  It's a quaint village about 30 minutes by bus from Nice with small, secluded beaches.  And as usual in this ridiculous country, it was gorgeous.

Tonight the students are practicing for the spectacle Friday night with Saint Laurent du Var.  Some of us are singing, some of us are dancing and some of us are doing comedy sketches. Participation obligatoire!

I can't believe there are only 9 days let.  Le temps passe vite, non?  Tomorrow is a pottery workshop in the morning and then electives and then a special surprise in the evening.  I shan't tell you what it is.  No, no, I shan't!  A demain!
